We moved in at the end of February and are happily settled in to the new house. The next project is landscaping and grass - if we ever get nice weather! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the baby - he is due May 5th! Enjoy the new photos.

New photos of the house
Three months from the day we started digging the basement...we are making good progress! According to our builder, we are probably less than a month from completion. This is a picture of the kitchen cabinets that were picked up from Harmony, MN and installed this week (many thanks to Rick, Brandon, and Jed!)
Lockers in the mudroom for coats, etc.
Jacque's favority spot in the house - the fireplace!

House construction update
We hope everyone had a great holiday season and we hope you enjoy the new photos of the construction. We also want to say thank you to all that have kept our niece Carolyn Cooper in your thoughts and prayers. There were a lot of bumps in the road after her 2nd liver transplant, but she continues to make good progress!
We have siding!
The mudroom/laundry room tile was recently installed
Along with the tile in the Master Bathroom...
And the tile in the front entry
We have wild turkeys in our backyard!
We wonder how long they will hang around once Breckenridge and Kendra move in!?
The excitement this week has been the installation of the wood floors!
Baby Wolf's room!
The outdoor lights were installed this week as well.

The land for our future home.
Day one - October 13th - We officially got started!
Excavator started building the driveway!
Day Two - The basement hole was dug!
Day Four - Forms for the basement walls were setup.
Week one - Basement walls were poured.
It took 11 cement trucks to complete the basement walls.
It only took 8 minutes to unload each truck, so every 10 minutes a new truck would arrive.
Not even two weeks in and the basement is framed.
The roof trusses were set.
Three weeks - Started framing the garage.
The septic tank was installed.
One month - The roof is shingled.
The weather has been great!
It is amazing how much has changed in one month's time.
